A parcel tax is a charge levied by the District for water and sewer services based on the frontage size of the property.The Water and Sewer Parcel Tax Bylaws can be found here.
Each year after a parcel tax is first applied, the District publishes a notice with important information:
- Parcel Tax Roll Inspection: You can review the parcel tax roll at the municipal office during regular hours, or by clicking here.
- Property Owner Requests: If your property is on the tax roll, you may request a correction—but only for your own property.
- Deadline for Requests: Requests for amendments or complaints must be delivered to the District office by 4:30pm February 28, 2025. By mail, email to finance@houston.ca or dropped off at the office.The Parcel Tax Review Panel will meet at 6:15pm on March 18th, 2025.
