Welcome to the Houston Leisure Facility — a community hub for recreation, wellness, fitness, and family fun in the heart of Houston, BC. Whether you’re looking to swim laps, relax in the hot tub and steam room, take swimming lessons, stay active in the fitness centre, or spend time with family and friends, the Houston Leisure Facility offers something for all ages and abilities.

Notes
- Access to the climbing wall, rope swing, and one lane may be available upon request during public swim times depending on staffing and facility usage.

- Passes and memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Family passes and memberships include a maximum of two adults.
- 10 visit and 25 visit passes expire after two years.
Swim Lessons
The Houston Leisure Facility offers swimming lessons and aquatic programs for a variety of ages and skill levels throughout the year.
Programs may include:
- Preschool lessons
- Children’s swim lessons
- Youth aquatic programs
- Private lessons
- Specialty aquatic programming
Lesson registration dates and seasonal schedules are announced regularly through the District of Houston recreation channels.

Pool Rentals & Group Bookings
The Houston Leisure Facility offers private pool rentals for schools, organizations, birthday parties, community groups, and special events. Visit the Facility Bookings page to learn more.
Supervision Requirements
- One adult supervisor in the water is required for every 10 children aged 8 and older.
- Children aged 7 and under must:
- Wear a wristband, and
- Remain within arm’s reach of an adult at all times.
- One adult may supervise a maximum of 3 children aged 7 and under.
- Additional adult supervisors may be required depending on group age ranges.
Public Swim Group Visits
Groups are welcome during public swim times; however, reserved space is not available during public swims.
If bringing a larger group during public swim hours, please contact the facility at least one week in advance so that staffing levels can be adjusted if needed.
Please note:
- Pool capacity limits still apply
- Groups may experience a short wait during peak attendance periods
- Staff will work to accommodate groups as quickly as possible
- Regular Admission rates apply
Birthday Parties & Special Gatherings
The Houston Leisure Facility does not currently offer formal birthday party packages.
Many families choose to:
- Attend public swim sessions
- Use nearby facilities for cake and presents afterward
- Coordinate group visits during public swim hours
Private pool rentals outside normal operating hours may also be possible depending on staffing availability.
Locker Rentals
Locker rentals may be available for regular users and seasonal programming participants.
